Q. What is NCCU Day of Giving?

NCCU is Day of Giving is a 24-hour online fundraising campaign that demonstrates the collective positive impact of gifts of all sizes and brings the NCCU community together.

Q. Where does your gift go?

You can choose from a large selection of interest areas at NCCU, including the annual fund, athletics, academic programs, or anywhere else.

Since we have countless funds, we were unable to add all to each given area. Therefore we created the “other” fund. This allows donors to make a gift and let us know in their comments where they would like it to be designated.

Q. Why give on March 1-2?

Giving on March 1-2 is an opportunity to show our collective support for NCCU during this trying time. We truly believe that there is strength in numbers and we want to show the community that Eagles can soar together. Hourly challenges and bonus funds available on that day, means more dollars given to your favorite school/college or program.

Q. What is GiveGab?

GiveGab is a nonprofit giving platform that helps nonprofits to raise money, engage donors and manage volunteers quickly and efficiently. GiveGab offers a full portfolio of simple and easy to use products that allows organizations to function in a more streamlined manner.

Q. Can I make donations via a mobile device?

Yes! Simply visit https://dayofgiving.nccu.edu on your mobile device.

Q. How much of each donation goes to my organization?

GiveGab retains a 3% campaign management fee from all donations. Credit Card processing fees are an additional 2.5% + $0.30 for all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Any donations processed outside of Giving Day donation period, through GiveGab.com, or subsequent recurring donations are subject to transaction fees outlined on the GiveGab.com pricing page: info.givegab.com/pricing.
